About this event
Learn expert tips on managing pain and improving function from Dr. Hassan Majeed, pain management specialist and psychiatrist. Dr. Majeed, who takes a holistic approach to mitigating pain disorders, will also teach helpful techniques, such as slow and deep breathing, mindful breathing, and progressive muscle relaxation. (Physical therapist Anne Harshey, who holds a doctor of physical therapy degree, will join in to demonstrate these techniques.) Dr. Majeed is on staff at Point Performance in Bethesda. He is board certified in pain and addiction medicine – as well as adult, child and adolescent psychiatry.
This is an LFV/FHNN cooperative program.
