Friday March 4, 10:30 - 11:30 am. Artist and Social Change in America, Part II with docent Bob Ferguson from the Smithsonian American Art Museum.

Art Docent Bob Ferguson will continue his program showcasing more American Artists whose works were reactions to major changes in society. Our nation's history is replete with events and forces that have changed the social fabric of the country.  Among those to bed discussed in the program include Manifest Destiny, the impact of slavery, the industrial revolution, the lives of Hispanic families in contemporary America, and the recession of 2008.
