Global Supply Chain
with Dr. Todd McAllister, National Defense University
Wednesday, July 27, 1:00-2:30 pm
This presentation will highlight key historical events and why it is so important to understand the basic concepts of today's global supply chain. The U.S. is a maritime nation, but China plays a huge role in the global supply chain. This process has taken decades, but only until the shock waves of COVID-19 did America and many other countries wake up and realize the magnitude of their dependence on China for its economic health.
Dr. Todd McAllister is the Director for Global Supply Chain and Logistics Strategy at National Defense University, Eisenhower School. Dr. McAllister was a career Marine Corps logistician with over 24 years’ experience across the entire logistics enterprise.
