Wednesday, August 7 @ 9:15 am to 1:30 pm: Kennedy Center Docent Tour and Lunch / Meet in front of Safeway at 9:15 am, leave 9:30. Docent tour by Dorothy Douse followed by lunch at the Terrace Cafeteria. Opportunity to visit all KC theaters and special lounges. Tour will include visits to KC special lounges – Russian, Israeli, Chinese & African, each decorated with art donated by the sponsoring country. Learn about KC history, donations & artwork from over 60 countries. See Presidential boxes, newest renovated Terrace Theater, learn about The REACH, the KC expansion to open in September. $20 transportation cost plus cost for lunch (M&V).
